Your generosity can take many forms, and every gift makes a lasting impact. You can choose the way you want to help. We operate completely independently, meaning there is no middleman or administrative overhead to finance. 100% of your donation goes directly to the children and their immediate needs.

One-Time Donation: Perfect for immediate relief, helping us cover urgent medical, structural, or food supply needs.

Monthly Donation: Provides the predictable, steady foundation we need to keep our doors open and cover our ongoing monthly expenses.

Child Sponsorship: Sponsor a specific child and change their life forever. As a sponsor, you will receive regular updates, photos, and reports on your sponsored child’s growth, health, and school progress, allowing you to see the direct impact of your love.

Monthly Needs

It takes surprisingly little to completely change a child's life. For just EUR 40 or USD 45 a month, we can fully provide for one child's essential needs. One-Time Donations

Whether you have visited our home in Likoni in person or found us from afar, your one-time gift makes a world of difference. Visitors are welcome to leave a donation directly at the orphanage after their visit. Alternatively, you can easily make a secure one-time bank transfer to our official orphanage account at any time from the comfort of your home.

Regular Donations

As a privately run orphanage, we receive absolutely zero government funding. We rely 100% on the consistency of regular donations to survive. Beyond the daily needs of the children, your monthly support ensures we can pay fair wages to our dedicated local staff. This includes our daytime caretaker—who cooks, cleans, and washes clothes and dishes—as well as our essential nighttime security guard who keeps the children safe until sunrise. Regular funding also covers critical running costs like electricity, building maintenance, and urgent structural repairs.

Ways to donate

To ensure your generosity goes exactly where it is needed most, choosing the right transfer method is highly important. Sending money internationally from currencies like USD or EUR to Kenyan Shillings (KES) can involve high hidden fees and exchange rate losses. Additionally, strict anti-money laundering regulations mean that some platforms have complex registration processes.We highly recommend using modern online transfer providers (such as Xoom or Wise) instead of traditional bank wires. These platforms usually offer the lowest fees, the fairest exchange rates, and a quick setup, ensuring that the maximum amount of your donation safely reaches our children in Likoni.

We have two accounts to receive donations. The bank account is considered for larger amounts and regular donations. The transfer to the Mpesa account of Dorine Ernest Ombeva is suitable for smaller amounts to buy food, medicine or other short-term requirements:
